Having worked in the food industry for a number of years, we always had a dream about opening our own restaurant. We knew from the very start that the quality of the product had to be consistently exceptional! Working in Rick Stein's restaurants for over 4 years taught me the importance of high-quality fresh ingredients and cooking techniques.

Moving forward from fresh seafood, we decided that there was a gap in the market for a "Gourmet Takeaway" In Truro. We always enjoyed great wings and fried chicken, so we decided that would be the route to follow! As a couple of 21 year olds, this was not an easy task.

We set to it, deciding to pursue "Wing Shed". After months of hard work renovating the premises, experimenting with dishes for the menu and spreading the idea. We were ready to open!

October the 19th, 2022 - Opening day, is always daunting, especially after pulling an all-nighter in preparation.

Customers rushed through the door, leaving with happy tummies.

We could not have wished for more, especially with the glowing feedback that followed!

We've since quit our jobs and are building the business full-time - Shop #2 is Opening in St Austell soon.
